• Fowl Weather Family was built to share our collected knowledge and create a digital homestead where care is reimagined with modern, scalable, and human-centered technology. Behind the scenes, our team is building software to help organize future workflow systems to ensure efficiency and human-centered care practices for clients and their care teams.

  • Caregiving is in crisis. By 2026, the U.S. could face a shortage of up to 3.2 million healthcare workers, and in 2023, turnover rates in-home care alone neared 80%. Overworked and underpaid caregivers are burning out, and the system isn’t keeping up.

Like many in the field, I started as a Certified Nursing Assistant after graduating in 2014. But despite my passion for caregiving, I quickly realized I could earn more elsewhere. Though I had dreamed of this work since high school, by late 2016, I left the industry and returned to the field that had supported me through my education.

At Vacasa, I worked my way up from housekeeper to Senior Operations Specialist in just four years, learning how systems, workflows, and efficiency drive success. That experience reinforced the importance of connection and care, but it also raised a critical question: Why don’t we apply these same principles to caregiving?

That question sent me back to school, and I haven’t stopped learning since.

    • Business Management: Completed the equivalent of a freshman year.

    • Google Data Analytics (Coursera): Nearing completion, with a case study to be shared soon.

    • AZ-900 (Microsoft): Studying underway.

    • WGU (Technology Communications): Working on re-enrollment to deepen technical expertise.

While many have encouraged me to pursue this independently, the reality is that balancing education, innovation, and providing for a family requires support.

  • We’re not just creating content: we’re building real solutions to improve workflows at every level. Right now, we are unfunded and unrecognized, but every piece of this project is built on the resilience and determination tested by our founder and her family. Every canceled shift, every lost hour caused by unreliable systems has been redirected into creating something better: something dependable.

Our approach ensures that everything we build is:

    Efficient & Sustainable

Reducing burnout, turnover, and inefficiencies wherever possible.

Human-Centered & Data-Driven Using technology to support, not replace workers.

    Scalable & Accessible

Designed for caregivers, families, and businesses alike.

  • The Care Economy is a $648 Billion Market – Yet inefficiencies and high turnover are costing billions consistently.

Reducing Turnover by Just 10% Saves Millions – Companies spend vast sums on hiring and training due to burnout.

AI & Workflow Optimization Can Cut Admin Time by 30% – Allowing caregivers to focus on care, not paperwork.
